App-solutely Fashionable: A Tutorial+Tips on how to "create" outfits in minutes
But guess what? There is a solution! WOOHOO! If I were you I'd be screaming for joy right now, seriously it's awesome! Pureple, don't worry I'm not trying to spell the color (although that is my favorite color), but the app!
Here's why I love this app:
- You can see all your clothes in the palm of you hands.
- You can see what clothes coordinate well together
- It creates outfits for you
- It's FREE
This little beauty is the holy grail of saving time, creating fashionable outfits, and not being late again! It's also really simple to do. First, you have the option to take pictures of the clothes from your closet, or you can choose clothes from websites. It's super cool!
Disclaimer: It takes some time to take pictures of all of your clothes, but if you do it while cleaning out your closet it doesn't take much time at all.
So the first thing you do is either post pictures of your whole closet or you can find clothes from a web page. The one thing I love about this app is that I can take pictures of my own clothes and have the app create outfits for me (which I'll show you later.)
Next I sorted the clothes into categories
Sorted Tops and Vests
Alright, remember how I said the app can create outfits for you? This is where the magic happens. Simply click on the three lined bars, and this dialogue box will come up.
Click suggest outfit.
Once you do that a dialogue box of the types of clothes you have will show up. Click which ones you want outfits made out of. For example I clicked pants, tops, and accessories. And BAAAAMMM, you have a bunch of outfits. In order to save the outfit hit the save button and if you hate an outfit swipe right, it's kind of like Tinder with your clothes.
The thing I really like about Pureple is that I can save the outfits for other days. Here are the outfits I have saved. Goodbye morning drama and hello fashionista.
If you have an outfit in mind the app allows you to see if it really coordinates. See, it's the holy grail of fashion help!!
This is the window where you drag the clothes to create your own outfit.
Enjoy having more time in the mornings, outfits for dayyysss, and looking fabulous at the same time! It's a WIN, WIN ,WIN!! You're welcome!!!
XOXO,
Megs

ReplyDeleteIt really is so great, I'm glad that I found it! If you do it when you are cleaning out your closet it shouldn't take too much longer or you can look up the website where you bought the clothes and add them there! Hooray for Pinterest! Thanks again! :)
